Kiwanis Club will serve annual pancake breakfast Saturday
Again this year, a four-decade tradi-
tion will take place in The Gathering
early Saturday morning during the
Fall Festival.
Members of the Kiwanis Club will
arrive at The Gathering as early as 5
a.m. Saturday to begin preparations
for the annual Pancake Breakfast
when more than 3,000 breakfasts are
served from7-11 a.m.
The fast-moving line of hungry
patrons waiting for the amateur chefs
behind the grills to load their plates
with the light, fluffy pancakes and
sausages doesn't slowdown during the
serving hours. Organizers said there
simply isn't a slow time when the line
isn't steady. After 40 years, however,
