needed more room during the festi-
val,” Agostini said. “That's how it start-
ed.”
The popularity and crowds has
required them to order a bigger tent
this year and Agostini said he expects
that Big Ray and the Motor City Kings
will fill it to capacity from 8 p.m. until
midnight both Friday and Saturday
nights.
There will be a $3 cover charge
each night, too, which will be donated
to the Plymouth-Canton Vietnam
Veterans of America Chapter 528, as it
has for the past fewyears.
“These vets deserve all the help we
can offer,” Agostini said, “and $3 to
hear Big Ray is a bargain, believe me.
This band is just fantastic.”
The veterans will be on hand,
checking ages, collecting the cover
charge at the door and issuing wrist
bands for admittance to the tent.
Again this year, Agostini and Belli
are allowing the A.M. Rotary Club to
use the tent for their annual Spaghetti
Dinner early Saturday, before the band
begins.
“The whole point of the Fall
Festival is to help the community and
the civic groups. We have a great time
and we help the veterans and the
Rotary Club which makes it even bet-
ter.
“BigRay is sure to be a big draw, the
band always just rocks the place. We're
really looking forward to the week-
end,” Agostini said. 'Everybody's invit-
ed.”
