pancakes.
The $6 presale and $7 day of the
breakfast price also includes coffee or
milk, orange juice and, of course, but-
ter and syrup. Early tickets can be pur-
chased by calling Mark Riegal, (734)
718-6176 and Kiwanis members will
also be selling the tickets at the festival
ticket booth at Main Street and
Penniman.
In addition, the Kiwanis Club is
also selling tickets for their second
Dinner Anywhere in the World raffle.
A $10 ticket gives the buyer the chance
to win dinner for two at any restaurant
in the world, including two round-trip
flights and a two-night hotel stay.
Second prize is dinner for two at any
restaurant in the U.S. and the third
prize winner can choose any restau-
rant in Michigan, with a hotel stay
included.
Riegal said that all the winners,
whose names were announced during
the pancake breakfast last year, took
the cashprizes rather than the trips.
The tickets completely sold out
early last year, Riegal said, and this
year, purchasers can get 11 chances on
the prizes for $100.
Proceeds from the pancake break-
fast and the raffle ticket sales will be
used for Kiwanis projects. The
Kiwanis Club is dedicated to helping
children throughout the world and the
club sponsors an international effort to
eliminate Iodine Deficiency Disorder,
supports Michigan Motts Children's
Hospital, sends meals to the under-
privileged and to those in disaster
areas, provides area scholarships and
is involved in many other efforts to
help children around the world and in
the local community.
