Craft show celebrates creativity
This year, in addition to the enter-
tainment provided by Luigi the
strolling waiter, children can take a
chance at the “Meatball Toss.”
“It's a large backboard with holes
and the kids can toss a red beanbag,
not a real meatball, at it for prizes,”
Rosevear said. The cost is $1 for three
tosses and this money, too, will go to
help provide the meals for Flint chil-
dren.
The meals will be available in the
covered dining area inside the tent
from 4-8 and the drive through carry-
out area will be available the same
hours.
In addition to the Kids Against
Hunger meals, Rosevear said, the
main goal of the A.M. Rotary Club is
the awarding of scholarships to local
graduates who have overcome person-
al or family challenges to graduate.
Tickets are available by contacting
(734) 455-5810.

One of the most popular attractions
at the Fall Festival in Plymouth annu-
ally is the craft show, where artisans
bring their work to display and sell in
booths during theweekend.
This year the booths will be located
at Main Street and Penniman Ave. and
will include holiday crafts along with
jewelry and other original items.
Organizers said that it is difficult to
categorize many of the items that have
been on sale in the past. Items such as
scarves, handmade soaps, baked
goods, jams, cheeses, handbags and too
many other categories to list have
attracted shoppers during the past
events.
The jewelry vendors are juried and
limited, organizers said, to ensure that
there are not too many of the same
type of items at the event.
This year the crafters will be at
their tents from noon until dusk on
Friday, Sept. 9, from 9 a.m. until dusk
on Saturday, Sept. 10 and from 9 a.m.
until 6 p.m. onSunday, Sept. 11.
