Kuechler said.
She said the program ismanaged by
volunteers and that all the volunteers
have successfully undergone a back-
ground check.
“We are a non-profit organization
and rely on fundraising, like the Fall
Festival bingo, sponsorships, and regis-
tration fees to fund our program and
purchase supplies, such as personal-
ized jerseys and uniform accessories
for every player in the league, dozens
upon dozens of baseballs, game equip-
ment (such as heartguards for pitchers
and gear for catchers), leasing fields,
and securing insurance for all partici-
pants,” she explained.
In addition to the spring baseball
season, Plymouth Canton Little
League also has a winter clinic for
players who want to shake off the cob-
webs before the snow melts, tourna-
ment teams in some age groups for
players who want the additional chal-
lenge, plus All Star teams that compete
in the Little League district tourna-
ment with the hope of eventually
advancing to the Little League World
Series in Williamsport, PA, Kuechler
added.
“We haven't made it yet, but we're
feeling optimistic that one day it will
happen,” she said.
Players can start the bingo games at
any time during the evening as games
will be continuously called. Three spe-
cial Grand Slam Bingos will be take
place at 6:45, 7:45 and 8:45 p.m.
Rules at the Fall Festival bingo
games include include:
• Players must be 18 years of age
andhave valid identification.
• Children under 18 years of age
must bewith an adult at all times. They
are not allowed to play bingo, but they
may sit with an adult while the adult
plays.
• Games will be called continuously
starting at 6 and ending at 9 p.m.
• Bingo sheets will be sold at the
beginning of each round.
• Single and double games - $1 for 1
sheet or $2 for 3 sheets
• Grand Slam Games - $5 for one
sheet or $10 for three sheets. Grand
Slam games will one line followed by
coverall.
