Godmother of Music presented by library
A very special appearance by The Fairy Godmother of
Music is planned for noon, Friday, on the Kellogg Park stage.
Presented by the Plymouth District Library, Melissa
Behring, also known as The Fairy Godmother of Music, will
bring her performance to the stage with her blend of “edu-
tainment” and fun for all ages. Behring is known for her
performances and her ability to foster joy through music,
and organizers said she will bring her own special sparkle to
the festival stage. Based in music, storytelling and interac-
tive fun, Behring's performance will be “just the ticket for
those who come to the festival with children,” an organizer
said.
In the case of rain, the performance will be moved to the
library meeting rooms just east of the park, at 223 South
Main St. Melissa Behring, The Fairy Godmother of Music
The library, long a hub for reading and resources in the
Plymouth community, will also sponsor a booth in Kellogg and family-friendly craft experiences throughout the week-
Park, where staff members will once again offer free, fun, end.
