On Saturday night, following the Rotary Club of
Plymouth A.M. Spaghetti Dinner, Power Play
Detroit will take to the tent stage to entertain the
crowd.
Power Play Detroit is a live cover band dedicated
to classic rock 'n' roll of the times. The group was
voted Best Local Band by WDIV audiences in 2015,
2016, 2017, 2018 and again this year. The band was
also voted as the Best Cover Band in 2018 and 2019.
Power Play Detroit include Mike Smith on lead
guitar, April Hudson on vocals, Gary Kosten on bass
guitar and Bob Olds on drums.
“They really are a great band,” Agostini said,
“and this has become the place to be for a great
time.
“It is a party weekend for us and we can all have
a great time and give something back to the commu-
nity. We are hosting the Civitans Taste Fest for the
first time this year and they have almost 20 restau-
rants participating. We've been able to help the
Rotary Club with the Spaghetti Dinner, too, and
have been able to upgrade the meals for them.
“This weekend is about giving back,” Agostini
said, “and we really enjoy our part in it.” Power Play
