Crowds welcome Holiday Train, Santa to Romulus
The crowd who waited for the special
appearance of the Canadian Pacific
Holiday Train in Romulus last week
weren't disappointed.
The appearance of the lighted train was
part of the annual city Tree Lighting
Ceremony when Mayor Robert McCraight
and officials welcomed Santa to the com-
munity. The city constructed bleachers and
set up fire pits along the train tracks,
awaiting the special appearance. The
Romulus High School band and the Girl
Scouts entertained the crowds awaiting
the arrival of the special railway sight.

decorated train which collects funds for
multiple charities, had been postponed
during the pandemic making the brief
