Romulus Pumpkin Festival celebrates community
The traditional Rotary Club Festival of Lights opened the 25th Annual Romulus
Pumpkin Festival last weekend. Vehicles including bicycles to cement trucks and near-
ly everything in-between filled the streets to the delight of the large crowds along the
parade route. The weekend included live music food, crafts and games and entertain-
ment for all ages, include a classic car show. There were Bingo games and a pancake
breakfast served by the Romulus firefighters. In addition, there was a Corn Hole tourna-
ment to benefit for the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America and a 5K run and
walk.
