Helping hands
The bright green shirts with the symbols for peace, love and art will help identify the volunteers who help keep the Art In
The Park functioning every year. Both former president and founder Dianne Quinn and President Raychel Rork, third and
fourth from left, credit the volunteers with ensuring the success of the festival each year. Some of the volunteers return to
Plymouth from out of state for the event and some, as visitors will see, are just beginning their tenure with the festival.
Many have spent more than a decade as volunteers at the event, and have handled just about every situation possible.
The group met earlier this month to plan their schedules for the year and encourage visitors to ask them for information,
directions or help, if needed. "We simply couldn't do it without them," Rork said.
