Stitching up success
Young crafter sews up designer-style accessories
Shelly Boynton readily admits that
the “crafting” gene isn't inherDNA.
Her four daughters, however, have
artistic inclinations and more than
enough talent for the family.
This year, her 13-year-old daughter,
Ceciley Boynton, will show off some of
that creativity at Art In The Park
where shewill be selling her para-cord
bracelets, an item the young and hip
simply cannot have enough of these
days. She will also be selling her hand-
made cross body purses, wallets and
glasses cases. This will be Boynton's
second foray into the art show environ-
ment, she said. She recently had a
table at theHome and Garden Show in
Novi where she sold nearly all of the
200 para-cord bracelets she made for
that weekend event.
She said she is going to make about
300 of the bracelets in various colors

along with her original para-cord bracelets during Art In The Park this year.
