Hello Liberty Fest visitors;
Festival-goers will be able to access all things Liberty Fest-relat-
ed with the Liberty Fest app, including: entertainment schedules
with performer information, Carnival Zone news about amuse-
ment rides and Midway games, Liberty Run details, and festival
food and drink specifics. Just scan this QR code to download:

Special sensory hours will be held Thursday only from 1 - 3 p.m.,
when carnival rides and Midway games lights and music will be
turned off for festival-goers who are sensitive to large crowds and stimuli.
After that, the park lights up and plugs in for feature performances on the Schoolcraft College
stage and the amphitheater all weekend. The loudest and brightest show is Friday night's fire-
works spectacular. The Canton sky will be set ablaze by one of the largest and best fireworks
displays in Michigan. Tens of thousands of spectators will be awed as they watch this outstand-
                                ing aerial show.

And while each show will be entertaining for all, I am especially looking forward to our third
annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 13, kicking off at 3:30 p.m. in the amphithe-
                                ater.

I am also looking forward to enjoying many of the festival food and drink options throughout the
weekend. While favorites such as corn dogs, elephant ears, kettle corn, and giant pretzels will
be available from multiple vendors, we also plan on having a variety of food trucks on site. The
tentative line-up consists of Famous Hamburger; Hanky Panky Donuts; Impasto; The Indian
Express; KG's African-American Caribbean Food; Smokehouse 52 BBQ; and more.
Of course, the Beer Garden will be available for refreshing adult beverages, and the Canton
Lions Club will be offering their famous pancake breakfast in the north pavilion on Saturday
from 8 - 11 am. While there, kids will have a chance to meet a variety of fun characters such as
                                Bluey and Barbie from 9 - 11 a.m.
I, along with many other Board members, will be volunteering and we'll meet you there. Make
                                sure you say hello!
Thank you, Canton, for making Liberty Fest a community highlight every summer. Be sure to
come out to Heritage Park and celebrate our community!
