School district food delivery to resume Monday

Volunteers from the Wayne
Westland Community Schools
have distributed more than
100,000 meals during the
COVID pandemic.
Rain or shine, the volunteers
prepare the meals and deliver
them to school buildings
throughout the district where
families can pick them up. Food
distribution is set to begin again
Dec. 7 following an interruption
for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Pick up times for food are
usually 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.,
while Adams, Franklin,
Stevenson and Tinkham are 10
a.m. until noon on separate
days of the week. Wayne
Memorial High School distribu-
