Tickets are now on sale for the 12th
Annual Northville Grub Crawl planned for
6-9:30 p.m. July 25.
Participating Northville restaurants
will offer samples of samples of appetizers
and entrée items along with cash bar spe-
cials for the event. Ticket holders can use
free shuttle transportation to each restau-
rant or "crawl "on their own. Restaurants
participating the year include: Aubree's of

Farmersmarket nowopen
The Canton Farmers Market will be
open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. every Sunday
through Oct. 12 (closed July 2) at
Preservation Park, located at 500 N. Ridge
Road, Canton.
This open-air-market features a variety
of Michigan grown and made food as well
as hand-crafted items. The Farmers

Joint ShredDay set
The City of Plymouth and Plymouth
Townshipwill offer a shred day for all resi-
dents of both communities from 9 a.m.
until noon (or trucks are filled) Saturday,
June 24 at the Plymouth Cultural Center
located at 525 Farmer in downtown
Plymouth.
ShredLegal will be providing the onsite
shredding services. Plymouth Township
will host another joint shred event in the
fall.
Paper to be shredded is limited to five
banker boxes on each trip. Residents can
make multiple trips throughout the morn-
ing, however. Documents can be in paper
bags or boxes when brought to shredding.
Documents in plastic bags must be
removed fromthe plastic.
Residents participating must also pro-
vide proof of city or township residency
with a driver's license, voter ID card, water
bill, or property tax bill.

Craft Beer Festival planned
Tapped in the Ville, a craft beer festival
is planned from noon until 6 p.m. June 24
at Millennium Park, 45769 West Six Mile
Road inNorthvilleTownship.
Tickets are prices at $30 per person and
admission includes 10 tasting tickets and
one ticket for a 12-ounce Tapped in the
Villemug.

Packing party planned
Plymouth Community United Way and
Pastel will host a Hygiene Kit Packing
Party to benefit First Step from 10-11 a.m.
Saturday, June 24. Pastel is new to the
Plymouth community and offers a place
for women to rent work space, attend
workshops, and engagewith one another.
Volunteers can choose and sign up for
items they would like to bring to the pack-
ing event forFirst Step.
First Step is the only non-profit agency
inWayneCounty providing comprehensive
services for victims of domestic and sexual
violence.

Community Band sets concerts
The Belleville Community Band will
perform two summer concerts this year at
BellevilleFirst UnitedMethodist Church.
The first concert is set for 3 p.m. Sunday,

PlymouthGardenWalk set
The Annual Flowers are Forever
Garden Walk of the Trailwood Garden
Club of Plymouth will take place from
noonuntil 8 p.m. June 27, rain or shine.
Tickets to view the six selected home
gardens are $8 if purchased in advance
and $10 the day of the event, if available.
Tickets for children 12 and younger are
half price and babes in arms are admitted
at no cost. Strollers are not permitted.
One home garden will feature a peren-
nial sale and refreshments. Master
Gardenerswill be available for questions.

Doug Scheer will bring his Wacky
Science Show to the Romulus Public
Library at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 27. The
event is part of the summer reading pro-
gramat the library.
The activity is funded in part by the
Michigan Humanities Council and

Affairs.

Plymouth city fire services Emergency
Medical Service partners at Huron Valley
Ambulance are once again offering a free
Camp 9-1-1 this summer at the Plymouth
Cultural Center.
This event is open to any resident of
Plymouth or Plymouth Township and will
take place from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. July
10 and 11. While the day camp is free, it is
necessary to preregister and space is limit-
ed and fills on a first-come, first-served
basis.
This is a free, interactive, two-day camp
for children ages 8-12.
Camp 9-1-1 activities include: Learning
CPR and first-aid with paramedics;
Exploring emergency vehicles; Touring
local emergency departments and fire
departments; Engaging in interactive pre-
sentations from local police and specialty
teams.

Garden Club of Northville Annual Garden
Walk planned for 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. July 12.
The walk will begin at Mill Race Village
with garden themed vendors and comple-
mentary refreshments for ticket holders.

gardens are $12 if purchased in advance

Tickets the day of the walk will be
priced at $15.
Tickets purchased online can be
