it is not divisive or political, it is just a
great event for the community.
“People might not be able to name
five entries, but if one of them wasn't
there, they would notice,” she said.
“They'd be greatly missed by the
crowds,” she added naming several of
her favorite long-time parade entrants.
Reisner said the importance of the
parade to the community is easily
observed by traveling the parade route
early in the morning to see the solid
line-up of chairs and blankets along
the route along with all the residents
set up for family picnics.
“This parade is a tradition,” she
said, “a great one.”
