Library are bringing the Livonia-based
Cirque Amongus to the Main Stage in
Kellogg Park at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday,
Sept. 9.
Professional entertainers and
skilled instructors, teachers and volun-
teers introduce audience members of
all ages to the fundamentals of circus
arts, juggling, movement and balanc-
ing, in a safe fun-filled environment.
Audience members are transformed
into circus arts performers and do
things they never thought possible, a
CirqueAmongus spokesman said.
The group does hundreds of shows
annually and visits schools to help
teach children self esteem by helping
them take on unique challenges, like
circus acts.
Library Director Carol Souchock
said she has seen the performers pre-
viously and is confident the Plymouth
audienceswill enjoy the show.
“The show is a surprising combina-
tion of comedy, circus skills and audi-
ence participation, featuring a display
of teamwork and perseverance guar-
anteed to amaze,” she said. “It is enter-
tainment for thewhole family.”
In the event of rain, the showwill be
moved just down the block from
KelloggPark to the library.
“We are delighted that the Friends
are making this event possible,”
Souchock said. “We are excited to join
the community in this annual
Plymouth tradition - theFall Festival.”
The library is located at 223 South
Main St. in Plymouth. For more infor-
