When the owners of Sun and Snow
on Main Street looked out at Kellogg
Park from their store windows a few
years ago, they saw a vast expanse of
snow-covered ground which meant
only one thing to them: an opportuni-
ty.
“We just saw that wide open space
and thought how perfect it was for
cross country skiing,” explained Rob
Parent, who along with his sister,
Heidi, are the second-generation own-
ers of the store.
“That first year we were here we
had lots and lots of snow, so we decid-
ed it was perfect to demonstrate cross
country skiing and get kids involved,”
he said. “We just want people to
