The Rat Pack
Library offering trip back to swingin’ 60s
The Plymouth District Library will
once more join other community
organizations as an active partner in
the annual Plymouth IceFestival.
A host of free library activities,
sponsored by the Friends of the
Plymouth District Library, will take
place over the weekend, Jan. 7 - 8, to
appeal to festival goers of all ages.
“We are so pleased to be a part of
this fine Plymouth tradition, “
explained Library Director Carol
Souchock. “We are anxious to wel-
come folks back to the library for the
upcoming ice festival.”
The library is proud to present an
Ice Festival Musical Interlude: Chris
Ayotte presents The Rat Pack at 2 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 7. Musical artist and
impersonator, Ayotte will present his
Rat Pack-style show, including tributes
to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and
friends (Nat King Cole, Johnny Carson
and others may appear), interspersed
with comedy.
The entire family is invited to come
into the library and enjoy some hot
chocolate, crafts and fun winter activi-
ties from noon until 3 p.m. Sunday,
Jan. 8. Activities planned are geared to
children ages 5-12, but families are
