Holiday decorating contest continues in city
This isn't going to be easy.
Members of the Department of Neighborhood
Services team in Westland will be traveling through
neighborhoods until Dec. 24 seeking the best holiday
home decorations as part of The All American Holiday
Decorating Contest which began last week.
Residents can visit the city website to nominate them-
selves or a friend in one or all of three categories: Best
Traditional Display, Most Creative Display and Over the
Top Display. Nominees will be asked to enter a picture
along with their submission.
“The Department of Neighborhood Services team will
be out and about in neighborhoods in search of those resi-
dents who have gone the extra mile to make their homes
shine this holiday season,” commented Mayor William
Wild.
