           Faith and Blue

           Local residents were entertained with free equipment demonstration, crafts for chil-
           dren, access to police vehicles and giveaways during the first "Faith and Blue" event
           Oct. 6. The day was part of the community outreach effort. Part of a nationwide
           Department of Justice initiative. Members of the Plymouth Township Police
           Department and Northridge Church hosted the event which was attended by part-
           ners from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, the Michigan State Police, the Wayne
           County Prosecutors Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Federal
           Bureau of Investigations, Homeland Security Investigations, Customs and Border
           Protection, Schoolcraft College Police and the Plymouth Township Fire Department.
