Two decades of service
Northville Community Foundation marks 20th year of contributions
This year marks the 19th year the
Northville Community Foundation
(NCF) has planned and executed the
Northville 4th of July Parade. Each
year, the goal of the parade is to bring
the community together in joyful cele-
bration of our nation's independence
and freedoms. This week, the
Northville Community Foundation
also marked another milestone - the
nonprofit has now been serving the
Northville community for 20 years.
Founded on July 2, 1997, the
Northville Community Foundation
was established to enhance and
enrich life in the community. In the
early years of the organization, the
Northville Community Foundation
coordinated the Northville Township
Centennial Celebrations, began pre-
senting the 4th of July Parade, and
established educational scholarships
and senior citizen gift programs that
continue to this day.
At that time, the Northville
Community Foundation also began
