There will be a very large attrac-
tion at the Canton Liberty Fest this
year.
Sophia the Clydesdale, along with
some other horses from Chamberlin
Pony Rides, will be at the event again
this year, eager to meet youngsters
andpose for photographs.
Canton Township has rented the
horses for specific hours during the
festival, noted Canton Township
RecreationSpecialist LauraMortier.
Hours tomeet the horseswill be 1-8
p.m. Friday and Saturday, June 15-16,
in Heritage Park. Sally Van Buren,
Reservation manager for Chamberlin,
said they are the only company in the
country that offers “Ride the Clyde”
although there will be too many peo-
ple at LibertyFest to allowany rides.
“We began our company in 2000
with a dream to provide a forever
home for farm animals. Now, 18 years
later we are proud to have been voted
Michigan's 'Best Entertainment
Company.' We strive to exceed our cus-
tomers' expectations and as parents
ourselveswe provide the party experi-
ence we dream of for our own chil-
dren. Our company policy is to settle
for nothing less than 'Raving Fans'
with every event we host,” Van Buren
said.
