Joy said his one hope, other than
great weather this year, is boredom.
While that may sound odd, Joy said
that last year the public safety staff at
the festival were actually left with very
little to do, which he considers great
news.
“Last year, when I was walking
around, the EMTs from Huron Valley
Ambulance were yawning at the First
Aid station. That, to me is a good
thing,” he said.
“Actually, last year, the police didn't
report anything that got out of control,”
which, Joy said, is a real tribute to the
community.
“This is all about the community
and the civic groups,” Joy said.
