others both in the community and
around the world. Anyone interested
in joining or learning more about the
club is welcome to attend any club
meeting or project. Rotarians usually
meet twice per month. Details for
location and meeting/project info can
be found on the clubFacebook page.
The Rotary Club always partici-
pates in the parade as well with a
truck and trailer decorated with an
abundance of lights and flags from
around the world representing the
worldwide community of Rotary
International. Riding on the float will
be members of the Romulus Rotary
Club and other area clubs, along with
previous scholarshipwinners.
“Everybody loves a parade - and
nighttime parades are the best,” said
Judge Brian Oakley, a Romulus
Rotarian and co-founder of the
Parade of Lights. “We think it's a great
way to kick off Pumpkin Festival
weekend and our club is proud to
bring it to the community.”
