Welcome to the 21st Pumpkin
Festival hosted by the Romulus
DowntownDevelopment Authority.
Each year, the City of Romulus hosts
the one and only “Pumpkin Festival”
in Wayne County. If you're visiting, we
hope you get to know our city better
and come back soon. Organizers and
volunteers have worked since last
year's festival to make sure everything
is just right for our community and
your entire family. There's entertain-
ment, children's games, demonstra-
tions and a variety of vendors.
Romulus is the “Home of
Opportunity” - and the Pumpkin
Festival is one of the reasons why. In
addition to being a great place to live,
work and operate a business, Romulus
is a city for all seasons, featuring fami-
ly-friendly events all year long. We host
a fall festival in October, a holiday tree
lighting, an Easter egg hunt, a summer
concert series, free movies in the park,
downtown farmers markets and so
muchmore.
Thanks again to the many volun-
teers who, with our DDA and Festival
Committee, work so hard to make the
Festival a success. We also thank the
local community organizations that
participate and hope you'll support
themby participating in their fundrais-
ers throughout theweekend.
Thanks, especially, to our first
responders and those working to
ensure the safety of the public. Youwill
see a number of Romulus firefighters
and police officers this weekend, and
throughout our community all year
long. Their hard work helps make our
celebrations, and city, safe and enjoy-
able for all of us.
