Petting farm proves popular attraction at festival
Several of the superstars at the Plymouth Ice Festival
won't know if they will be attending until opening day of the
event.
That's because their “manager” Tammy Iacobelli, owner
of Carousel Acres, won't decide which of the animals she
provides at the petting farm and pony rides will attend the
event until she is confident that the weather is suitable for
them.
The petting farm and pony rides are among the most pop-
ular events at the Ice Festival and the crowds are always
entertained by the farm animals and ponies provided by
Iacobelli's family business. Carousel Acres has been provid-
ed specialized animals for schools, parties and festivals for
more than a quarter of a century and has perfected the huge-
