Lessons in fun

Sun & Snow again offers free ski demonstrations

Rob and Heidi Parent have learned how to successfully
combine business and pleasure.
The couple continues to enjoy and promote a variety of
the outdoor activities they love while operating their Sun &
Snow business in downtown Plymouth.
Both are huge advocates of winter sports activity and
will again this year host cross country skiing demonstra-
tions and lessons in Plymouth Kellogg Park on Saturday
and Sunday, Jan. 11 and 12.
“There's so much to do in winter. Snow can be a good
thing,” said Rob Parent. “If we can get the kids involved typ-
ically the adults will participate as well.”
Blue Care Network of Michigan is the event sponsor
again this year and the demonstrations will take place from
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
“Part of our mission is to encourage participation in out-
door activities,” Parent said. The Sun & Snow staff in past
