Joined by representatives from the
Plymouth Community Chamber of
Commerce, library will officials will cut
the ribbon at the new entrance, marking
the end of 18-months of building repairs.
All bike riders will be introduced to a
new feature at the library, the bike Fixit - a
self-serve bike repair station. The Fixit,
one of only a few at libraries around the
country, includes all the tools necessary to
perform basic bike repairs and mainte-
nance, from changing a flat tire to adjust-
ing brakes and derailleurs. The Fixit will
be located near the library bike racks, just
steps from the main entrance. This
unique equipment was made possible
through contributions of the Plymouth
Lions Club and local landscape design
firm, Serene Surroundings Landscape
Group.
Also on hand will be members of the
Ann Arbor Bicycle Touring Society, who
will provide how-to demonstrations with
the Fixit. The group organizes daily rides
for road and mountain bike enthusiasts

the inaugural event last year that helped
raise almost $1,600 for assisting local vet-
erans. Committee members have set a
goal of accumulating a fund to do home
improvement projects and other initia-
tives for veterans living inRomulus.
“This event and committee is impor-
tant for us and supports those that have
served and given their all to our country.
We want to be able to give those in need,
something back,” said Romulus Mayor
LeRoyD. Burcroff.

Committee Chairperson Robert
McCraight at

representative and Plymouth City
Commissioner, who said her failure to
help all the candidates “bordered on
malfeasance.”
In their letter to Johnson, Heise and
Vorva state that Conzelman's admission
that she assisted some candidates ensur-
ing their filing documents were in order,
while not providing equal service to oth-
ers “demonstrates that she is incapable of
putting her personal political preferences
aside and administering a fair election.”
Conzelman has publicly declared her
support for Price which places her objec-
tivity in counting votes in serious doubt,
Heise claims. He and Vorva said that her
earlier e-mail to Heise stating that his fil-
ing paperwork was in order demonstrates
her bias.
“The undersigned, therefore, respect-
fully assert that the admitted misdeeds of
Nancy Conzelman have so tainted the
Aug. 2, 2016 Republican primary that jus-
tice requires someone other than Ms.
Conzelman administer the election,” the
letter states. Heise also suggested in the
letter that as he is a write-in candidate,
oversight should be assigned to “ensure
that Nancy Conzelman does not destroy
ballots or fail to count write-in votes for
Kurt Heise. Her malice is obvious: her
intentions clear,” the letter to Johnson
states.
Heise and Vorva request that Johnson's
office oversee the balloting Aug. 2, “for the
sake of fair and free elections.”
There had been no response to their
request at press time.
