The purpose of the proposed project is to replace 1.5 miles of 12-inch watermain along Willow Road from Sumpter Road to a
half mile east of Martinsville Road. This area of watermain is experiencing pitting in the existing pipe and resulting in 13 breaks
over the past 8 years. The estimated cost of the project is approximately $1,250,000.00.
Copies of the project plan detailing the proposed projects will be available for inspection by the general public at the Office of
the City Clerk, 23480 Sumpter Rd., Belleville, Michigan starting Thursday, May 13, 2021. Written comments received before the
