A decade of service to a lifetime of
friends is the motto at Four Friends
Bar and Grill which has served
Canton diners since 1999. The family
restaurant has become a favorite of
locals.
The friendly atmosphere includes
a popularKaraoke night onFridays.
Quick lunch while shopping? Family dinner? Celebrating a
special occasion?
No matter what diners may be looking for, it can be found in
the specialty restaurants in Plymouth. The community has
become a destination for diners flocking to Five for a special cele-
bration, to E.G. Nick's to mark family birthdays or simply a night
out or toGreek Islands for a quick lunch or late-evening snack.
Whatever diners might be looking for, from the most sophisti-
cated to traditional American menus, Plymouth is the place to
find some of the best restaurants in the area. While Art In The
Park brings thousands of visitors to the city, it is the restaurants
that bring them back again and again during the year as they
enjoy the unique and diverse dining available in the community.
Here are just a fewof our favorites. Enjoy.
E.G. Nick's
500 Forest Ave.
Plymouth
(734) 414-6400
The longest bar in Plymouth where more than 27 craft
beers are offered is also one of the favorite family restau-
rants in the city. It is alsowhere couples enjoy date night and
larger groups celebrate special occasions like birthdays,
showers and retirements. The Forest Street restaurant has
become a fixture of downtown Plymouth and owners Tony
Belli andFrank Agostini are always on hand towelcome din-
ers and ensure that meals and service meet exacting stan-
dards.
In addition to the craft beers, the restaurant features a
long list of specialty cocktails and an extensive list of premi-
umwines. A long-time favorite of locals, E.G. Nick's is one of
themost popular places in town and is known for great food.
Themenu includes items like Caprese ravioli, with a kale
and pesto sauce that brings diners back again and again. The
exceptional flatbread pizzas offer unique toppings like
bacon, lettuce and tomato or Caesar salad along with the
expected usual pepperoni and cheeses. The exceptional flat-
bread crust on these treats has made themone of the biggest
sellers on the late-night and lunch menu, Agostini said. The
imaginative new dishes like the pear and spinach salad
added to themenuhave drawn rave reviews fromregulars.
The menu still includes the customer-favorite planked
whitefish, chosen as the best in the state by food critics and
the award-winning spare ribs, Bang-Bang Shrimp and bour-
bonpot roast nachos.
Agostini said the menu also includes several options that
can be prepared Gluten-free which is a popular option with
some diners.
Plymouth locals are always watching for the lunch spe-
cials which add to the daily menu. Agostini noted that the
restaurant uses only the freshest ingredients and still hand
chops greens for salads. Weekends almost always include
dinner specials, allowing Agostini to demonstrate some of
the culinary creativity that he has displayed with his various
TVappearances.
Meals range from $10 to $20 or so and are served in a
relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant is
known for the varied menu, family-friendly atmosphere and
spirit of fun.
