Mill Race Village preserves past of Northville community
When the period costumed mem-
bers of the Northville Historical
Society appear as part of the 4th of
July parade, it is usually to loud
applause from the crowds who line
the streets.
They are the historians of the
Northville area and preserve the
cherished beginnings of the city and
township at Mill Race Historical
Village. Created in 1972 by the
Northville Historical Society, Mill
Race Village serves as a unique focal
