          bargain shopping, gardening, fairs, festivals, clowns, theme
        
        
          parks and carnivals.
        
        
          He had retired and moved to his home in Florida prior
        
        
          tohis death.
        
        
          Mr. Newswick is survived by his sisters, Roxanne (Gary
        
        
          Grunst) Cripps of Carleton and Denise (Jesse) Weick of
        
        
          Belleville; nieces, Paula Cripps, Kristina Pankey and Jessy
        
        
          Weick, all of Belleville; a nephew, Charles Nerswick, also
        
        
          of Belleville; great-nieces Katalina Pankey, Amara
        
        
          Nerswick, Zoey Nerswick, Lilyann Nerswick and Hailey
        
        
          Nerswick, and countless friends.
        
        
          His parents, and his beloved cat, Magic Man, preceded
        
        
          Mr. Nerswick indeath.
        
        
          A celebration of Mr. Nerswick's life is planned at 1 p.m.
        
        
          Saturday, June 24, at Trinity Free Will Baptist Church, 410
        
        
          OregonSt., Ypsilanti.
        
        
          His family suggests that those who attend wear their
        
        
          favorite brightly-colored shirt to honor Mr. Nerswick's
        
        
          extraordinary life as they share theirmemories of him.
        
        
          Mr. Nerswick donated his organs in his final effort to
        
        
          extendhis charitable contributions even indeath.
        
        
          Cremation riteswere accorded.
        
        
          The Belleville Area Museum (BAM) and historical socie-
        
        
          ty has been located in the old Van Buren Township Hall
        
        
          building since 1996. The building is listed on the State of
        
        
          MichiganRegister ofHistoricPlaces.
        
        
          In addition to the antiques on display in the museum
        
        
          events are planned nearly every month. The museum also
        
        
          offers researchand genealogical services in the archives.
        
        
          Third-Thursday lectures take place from January
        
        
          through June, including pizza and in July the museum
        
        
          organizes the annual GarageSale.
        
        
          This August, museum personnel are planning a dinner
        
        
          theater performance of Henry (Ford) and Friends.  In
        
        
          October, there will be tour of Soop Cemetery along with the
        
        
          annual KidsHalloweenParty.
        
        
          The Festival of Holiday Trees at the museum begins in
        
        
          mid-November and features more than 50 trees decorated
        
        
          for theholiday.
        
        
          Membership fees begin at $20 and include free admis-
        
        
          sion all year, a quarterly newsletter and discounts on ticket
        
        
          prices.
