         The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Pro Tem John Barden.
         Pledge of Allegiance

         City Treasurer, Stacy Paige, gave a reminder of the various ways to pay property taxes which are due on February

         e-check. Wayne County Clerk, Cathy Garrett, performed the swearing-in ceremony for four of the Romulus
         School Board members: Judy Kennard, Edward Martell, Denisa Terrell, and Ursula Wester.
         7.  Public Comment
         Gina Wilson-Steward, River Rouge, announced that the next meeting of the NAACP will be held on Feb. 11 th  at
         7:00 p.m. at the Caroline Kennedy Library in Dearborn Heights; and, the March 11 th  meeting will be held in
         Garden City.

         Councilwoman  Williams announced that Lavora Barnes was elected as the first woman party chair at the
         Michigan Democratic Convention.
         10.  Communication
         Councilwoman Talley gave a thank you to those who have been praying for her father, Deacon Talley, during his
         surgery which took place earlier today. Councilman Wadsworth spoke about the new concrete being laid in the
         Oakbrook Subdivision. Mayor Pro-Tem Barden complimented the DPW workers on the fine job they did plow-
         ing the roads.
         11.  Moved by Wadsworth, seconded by Roscoe to adjourn the regular meeting of the Romulus City Council.
         Motion Carried Unanimously.
