HealthsystemElders) and has Magnet
recertification. It is the only hospital
in Michigan to earn six exemplars,
placing it in the top 5 percent nation-
wide.

and the Sinai Center for Women is
accredited by the National
Accreditation Program for Breast

Blind trust
This year, the annual Blind Canoe Race during Milford Memories will begin
at 12:30 Aug. 13 at Central Park on the Huron River. Teams of three paddle
through an obstacle course set up in the river while one team member
calls out directions to the two blindfolded paddlers. Registration for the
event and check in will begin at 11:30 a.m. The event is sponsored by
Heavner Canoe Rental and Village Canoe Rental.
