 
          Welcome to the 41st Annual
        
        
          Belleville National Strawberry Festival,
        
        
          one of the premier summer events in
        
        
          Southeastern Michigan presented by
        
        
          Meijer.
        
        
          As executive director of the festival, I
        
        
          would like to thank the City of Belleville,
        
        
          the police and fire departments, the Boy
        
        
          Scouts, our sponsors, our board of direc-
        
        
          tors and everyone who has worked so
        
        
          hard tomake the festival a success.
        
        
          The Belleville National Strawberry
        
        
          Festival has six venues: Main Street,
        
        
          Belleville Area Chamber of Commerce,
        
        
          Belleville Presbyterian Church,
        
        
          Belleville Trinity Episcopal Church, St.
        
        
          Anthony Catholic Church and Victory
        
        
          Park.
        
        
          Main Street features crafters, a carni-
        
        
          val midway sponsored by the Belleville
        
        
          Area Chamber of Commerce, vendors, a
        
        
          children's area featuring a White Tiger
        
        
          Exhibit. Main Street is also the site of
        
        
          the festival parade which begins at 11
        
        
          a.m. onSaturday.
        
        
          The Belleville Area Chamber of
        
        
          Commerce is responsible for carnivals
        
        
          at two locations, Main Street and St.
        
        
          AnthonyCatholicChurch.
        
        
          As part of the festival, the Belleville
        
        
          Central Business Community brings
        
        
          juried crafters toMainStreet.
        
        
          Belleville Presbyterian Church fea-
        
        
          tures tours of the historic building on
        
        
          both Saturday and Sunday. The church
        
        
          is one of the original sevenMarthaMary
        
        
          Chapels built by Henry Ford and his
        
        
          wife tohonor theirmothers.
        
        
          Belleville Trinity Episcopal Church
        
        
          features all things strawberry, including
        
        
          pies, breads, jam and much more.  They
        
        
          also feature their famous sloppy joe
        
        
          lunches on both
        
        
          Saturday and
        
        
          Sunday.
        
        
          St. Anthony's
        
        
          Church features
        
        
          bingo, great food, entertainment and a
        
        
          beer tent, along with the chamber of
        
        
          commerce carnival on the grounds.
        
        
          The festival offers free shuttle service
        
        
          with free parking at the Belleville
        
        
          PresbyterianChurch onBellevilleRoad.
        
        
          The trolleywillmake stops at all venues.
        
        
          The Annual Belleville National
        
        
          Strawberry Festival offers a full week-
        
        
          end of family fun for everyone.
