includes sausage, coffee, milk, and
juice. Admission is $6; the cost for sen-
iors and kids ages 12 to 4 is $5. Children
4 and younger are served free with an
adult purchase. Proceeds will be used
to ensure Scouting programs remain
available to the boys of Romulus.
Pumpkin Festival spaghetti dinners
will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 22, at Community
United Methodist Church at 11160
Olive St. at the corner of Bibbins.
Donations for the meal are $8 each; $4
for children ages 6 to 12. Children 5 and
younger eat free. Carry-out orders can
be placed at (734) 941-0736.
The Pumpkin Pubwill be open from
6 p.m. until 1 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, and
Saturday, Sept. 22, serving beer and
wine. The Romulus Arts Council is
committed to promoting all the arts
with community young people.
Proceeds are used to provide scholar-
ships to Romulus residents who are
continuing their education in the arts.
Several Pumpkin Festival-related
events take place off-site, including a
white elephant garage sale at St.
Aloysius Catholic Church, 37200
Neville St., Romulus. Hours are 10 a.m.
to 6 p.m. Sept. 21-22 and noon to 4 p.m.
Sept. 23. The sale will take place in two
buildings and include household items,
toys, tools, linens, sporting goods, holi-
day items, books, radios and much

The Romulus Ministerial Alliance
will present ecumenical services at
9:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at Romulus
Historical Park. The service is open to
the public.
Thanks to festival sponsors, which
include city engineering consultant
OHM (Orchard Hills & McCliment),
Safiedine Trucking, Greenlawn Grove
FleaMarket, Streamco, Block's Stand&
Greenhouses, Comerica Bank, the City
of Romulus, and the Romulus
Downtown Development Authority.
Romulus first responders will be on
site to ensure public safety. The
Romulus High School National Honor
Society members are among the volun-
teers.
