Announcers return for 2016
Cheering for Team USA behind the microphones during
the parade will be perennial announcers Dr. William
Demray andwell-known radio personalityLisaBarry.
The pair have been announcing the parade for several
years and their rapport has kept parade audiences charmed,
nomatter what the situation. They admit, they have had their
moments behind the announcers table, but agreed that they
love being involved in the annual celebration of all things
patriotic and all thingsNorthville.
Demray is the owner of Preservation Dental on Main
Street and Barry has worked with nearly every major radio
station in theDetroit area.
Barry is a member of the Northville Community
Foundation Board of Directors and said the public really has
no idea how much work, effort and time goes into the work
the foundation does in the community. She said that they are
very proud of their accomplishments inNorthville.
The pair agreed they enjoy their announcing duties and
welcome the opportunity to add to the event every year.
“As long as they askus back,” they said.
