HuronValleyChamber of Commerce.
The organization has been
involved in the community since 1962
and includes the businesses and resi-
dents of the Village of Milford and the
townships of Commerce, Highland,
Milford andWhite Lake in the service
area.
For 55 years, the Huron Valley
Chamber of Commerce has worked to
improve the economy and quality of
life in the Huron Valley area. The
chamber is an advocate for the com-
munity and its businesses, promoting
and providing a channel of communi-
cation that helps residents, visitors,
merchants, and business people find
and fulfill eachothers needs locally.
"Our mission to promote and sup-
port Huron Valley business in creat-
ing a better community guides us in
our role as a vital business ally. A
strong chamber helps build a strong
community, which is why we are
proud to host an event like Milford
Memories that brings hundreds or
thousands of people to the quaint
Village of Milford," a chamber official
said.
While the chamber office serves as
a clearing house of information for
area residents, potential new resi-
dents, and visitors; the primary efforts
continue to be directed toward help-
ing member businesses grow and suc-
ceed. Residents and visitors look to
the chamber to help them find com-
munity information regarding schools,
parks, events, organizations, churches,
and businesses. Area businesses look
to the chamber to help their business
prosper in a competitivemarketplace.
TheHuronValley Chamber creates
opportunities to showcase members'
businesses, attract visitors to the area
and ultimately promote the whole
community. In addition to Milford
Memories, the Huron Valley Chamber
of Commerce also sponsors the
Christmas Parade; Business and
