COUNTY OF WAYNE, MICHIGAN
ON THE CREATION OF A LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FINANCE AUTHORITY
AND THE DESIGNATION OF AUTHORITY DISTRICT BOUNDARIES
TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS IN THE DETROIT REGION AEROTROPOLIS
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION REGION:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Executive Committee of the Detroit Region
Aerotropolis Development Corporation, County of Wayne, State of Michigan, will
hold a public hearing on Thursday, the 13th day of July, 2017, at 3:00 p.m., prevail-
ing Eastern Time, at the City Hall of the City of Romulus, 11111 Wayne Rd,
Romulus, Michigan 48174, to consider the adoption of a resolution establishing a
Local Development Finance Authority and designating the boundaries of the authori-
ty district in which the Local Development Finance Authority will exercise its pow-
ers, pursuant to Act 281 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1986, as amended.
PROPOSED BOUNDARIES
The boundaries of the proposed district within which the Local Development
Finance Authority shall exercise its powers are as follows:
THE CORPORATE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF ROMULUS
At the public hearing, all residents, taxpayers, property owners from a taxing
jurisdiction in which the proposed district is located or an official from a taxing juris-
diction with millage that would be subject to capture desiring to address the
Executive Committee shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard in regard to the
establishment of the Local Development Finance Authority and the boundaries of the
proposed authority district.

This notice is given by order of the Executive Committee of the Detroit Region
Aerotropolis Development Corporation, State of Michigan, pursuant to Section 4 of

A regular study session meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Charter Township of Canton was held Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at
1150 Canton Center S., Canton, Michigan. Supervisor Williams called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and led the Pledge of
Allegiance to the Flag.

Adoption of Agenda
Motion by Siegrist, sup-
ported by Anthony to amend the agenda to add one Consent Calendar Item # C-1 – Set Public Hearing for Kingfa Science and
Technology USA, Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate. Motion carried unanimously.

by Siegrist, supported by Sneideman to set the public hearing for June 13, 2017 to consider the Industrial Facilities Exemption
application of Kingfa Science and Technology USA, for new property on Michigan Avenue. Motion carried unanimously.
STUDY SESSION: TOPIC 1: Township-Owner Properties
Director Faas presented to the Board an overview of a map depict-
ing property currently owned by the township. A brief background on the public purposes of certain property acquisitions was
discussed. Faas also shared with the Board some perspectives regarding future land use objectives along Michigan Avenue
between Sheldon and Lilley Roads.
ADDITIONAL PUBLIC COMMENT:
George Miller, 1946 Briarfield, commented on
environmental study findings on the landfill and on the business associated with the landfill.

. Trustee Anthony complimented Director Meier on their awards.
Anthony also commented on June 6 and the anniversary of D-Day

CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF CANTON
ACCESS TO PUBLIC MEETINGS
The Charter Township of Canton will provide necessary, reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities at
the meeting/hearing upon notice to the Charter Township of Canton.
In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA"), the Charter Township
of Canton will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs,
or activities.
Employment:
The Charter Township of Canton does not discriminate on the basis of disability in its hiring or employment prac-
tices and complies with all regulations promulgated by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission under Title II of

The Charter Township of Canton will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aids and services

ties. For example, individuals with service animals are welcomed in the Charter Township of Canton's offices, even where pets
are generally prohibited.

There will be a charity spaghetti dinner
hosted by the Canton Firefighters Charity
on Friday evening. Saturday morning the
Canton Lions Club will serve their pan-
cake breakfast. The Canton Rotary Club
will again operate the beverage tent sell-
ing craft beers, ciders and soft drinks and
water.
Many popular local bands will perform
along with several local talents on the
stage. Also planned is a special appear-
ance by new cartoon heroes Captain
Barnacles andKwazii Kitten.
The H20 Zone will be open with fun
water attractions and warriors of all ages
can test their Ninja Warrior skills on the
Warped Wall and Obstacle Course. Oasis
Animals will provide a unique wildlife
safari experience.
The festival will conclude Saturday
evening with a spectacular fireworks dis-
play.
In Northville, the eighth Annual Arts
andActs Festival will return to downtown,
shining a spotlight on the imagination, art,
talent and cultural diversity of artists
throughout the region.
The festival includes the 29th annual
juried fine art show, Art in the Sun, featur-
ing nearly 70 artists; the Sandbox Play
Festival produced by Tipping Point
Theatre; the Short on Words Literary
Contest hosted by Preservation Dental;
musical entertainment featuring some of
metro Detroit's top musicians; children's
activities; the 4th annual Northville Art
House Chalk Festival; the new Young
Artist JuriedArt Fair and a large selection
of food anddrink.
The Arts and Acts festival will take
place from 3-8 p.m. tomorrow, June 16,
from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday and
from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday
