The 42nd Annual Belleville
National Strawberry Festival (BNSF)
would like to welcome you to a week-
end of family fun. The BNSF is one of
Southeastern Michigan's premier sum-
mer events presentedbyMeijer.
As executive director, I would like to
thank the City of Belleville, the police
and fire departments, the Boy Scouts,
our sponsors, board of directors and
everyone who has worked so hard to
make the festival a success.
The BNSF has five venues: Main
Street, St. Anthony Church, Belleville
Presbyterian Church, Trinity Church,
andVictoryPark.
Main Street features crafters, carni-
val midway, vendors and a children's
area. On Saturday starting an 11 a.m.
there is a parade. Also on Saturday
Third Street and Main will feature the
Fire Truck Pumper Pull Challenge
starting at 3:30 p.m. Belleville Central
Business District brings juried crafters
toMainStreet.
Trinity Church features all things
strawberry including pies, breads, jam
andmuchmore.
They also feature their famous slop-
py joe lunches Saturday andSunday.
St. Anthony's features bingo, great
food, entertainment and a beer tent,
plus so much more. There is also a
carnival on their grounds sponsored by
theBellevilleChamber of Commerce.
Belleville Presbyterian Church fea-
tures tours of their church on Saturday
and Sunday. It is one of the original
seven Martha Mary Chapels built by
Henry Ford and his wife to honor their
mothers.
All things strawberry fill the weekend
