Photographer, restaurant offer free memento of annual event
They will be back by popular demand
during the IceFestival.
Professional photographer Jill Andra
Young will once again be at E.G. Nick's
with a free photo booth to entertain visi-
tors and provide amemento of theweek-
end.
“It is just so much fun,” Young said.
“We have such fun props, mittens, funny
hats, costumes, different moustaches, big
wax lips. What people do is just too
funny.”
Youngwill be on hand Saturday after-
noon from 1–3 p.m. and evening, from
8–10 p.m. with a concentration on family
photos during the day. She said that chil-
dren really enjoy it.
“People get a photo booth style pic-
tures. Two strips of three sequential
poses and one 4 by 6-inch picture,” she
said. “One for you and one to share, and
the photo says Ice Festival 2014, E.G.
Nick's.”
Young said that she and her crewpro-
vided the booth at Turkeypalooza at the
restaurant, and it was exceptionally pop-
ular. “It was a hoot and a half. People
were so silly and had so much fun. We
used funny turkey props for that and
some people came back several times.”
Young said it is something that is just
fun although one person she knows did
get a photos she eventually used for her
Christmas cards.
Young, has been a professional pho-
tographer for 31 years, and specializes in
pet portraits.
“This is a lot more fun,” she said.
“People have a great time and it's all
free. Some people come in twos or
threes or small groups. I think I have
almost asmuch fun as they do.”
E. G. Nick's is located at 500Forest St.
