dinner roll with butter, a huge Jimmy
John's Chocolate Chip Cookie and a
16-ounce bottle of springwater.
The dinner will be served rain or
shine, noted Kate Rosevear, one of
the event organizers.
Since themove to the tent last year,
the weather has little effect on the
crowds who will be comfortable no
matter what Mother Nature has in
store.
E.G. Nick's will have bar service
inside the tent and drink tickets will
be available from staff members at
the door. There will also be a 12-foot
TV screen in the tent for those who
want to watch the University of
Michigan-Notre Dame football game
after the spaghetti dinner. The $3
cover charge for the after-dinner
entertainment will be waived for
those who stay on after the spaghetti
dinner.
Dinners, which are all-you-can-eat
for adults, are priced at $9 if pur-
chased in advance from any morning
Rotary Club member or at www.ply-
mouthrotaryam.org or $10 the day of
the event.
Tickets can also be purchased by
phone at (734) 455-5810 or at the Fall
Fest Dinner Ticket Booth at
Penniman and Main Street. Children
10 and younger eat free with a limit of
one free dinner with each adult paid
meal.
Tickets will be available fromnoon
Saturday at the dinner tent.
This year, a drive-through carry out
service has been planned in the park-
ing lot behind E.G. Nick's with entry
off Harvey Street. Tickets for carry-
out service must be purchased in
advance, Rosevear said.
In years past, most of the proceeds
from the Spaghetti Dinner were ear-
marked for the construction of The
Miracle League of Plymouth baseball
field. That field, once the club mem-
bers' great dream, is now a reality,
Rosevear said. It is located in the
recreation area behind Central
Middle School. As promised, The
Miracle League field now serves as a
playground for youngsters in wheel-
chairs, on crutches or with other
mobility issues and for those with
visual and hearing impairments,
autismand other special needs.
Proceeds from this year's dinner
will be used to provide scholarships
for Plymouth-Canton area youngsters
