For the past 20 years, artist Terry Lee
Dill has conceptualized fantastical build-
ings as metaphors of his daily life. His
drawings -- elaborate creations of black
ink and gold leaf, shot through with
imagery of nature, religion and desire --
are constructions entirely for the mind
to explore and enjoy. There are hints of
Dr. Seuss, M.C. Escher and Erich
Mendelsohn in this work on exhibit
Sept. 6-28 at theNorthvilleArtHouse.
Titled Dimorphism, this exhibit was
organizedby Jeff Cancelosi.
The show will open in the Art House
upper gallery with a reception, 6-9 p.m.,
Friday, Sept. 6.
There will be an artist's talk at 8 p.m.
the night of the reception. The show will
continue through Sept. 28 during Art
House gallery hours, 1-5 p.m.
Wednesday-through Saturdays. For addi-
tional information, call (248) 344-0497 or
visit http://www.northvillearts.org.
The Art House is located at 215 W.
Cady St. and is a facility of theNorthville
Arts Commission. Admission to Art
House shows is always free and open to
