              the City of Romulus with respect to floodplain management and to designate regulated flood hazard
            
            
              areas pursuant to applicable provisions of the State Construction Code, Michigan Building Code,
            
            
              Michigan Residential Code, and other state and federal authority.
            
            
              Sec. 5-184.
            
            
              Agency Designated.
            
            
              Pursuant to the provisions of the State Construction Code, in accordance with Section 8b(6) of Act
            
            
              230, of the Public Acts of 1972, as amended, the Director of the Department of Building and Safety
            
            
              of the City of Romulus, and/or his or her designee, shall serve as the enforcing agency to discharge
            
            
              the responsibility of the City of Romulus under Act 230, of the Public Acts of 1972, as amended,
            
            
              State of Michigan.  The City of Romulus shall administer and enforce the applicable provisions of
            
            
              the said Act throughout the corporate limits of the City of Romulus in accordance with the provi-
            
            
              sions of the State Construction Code.
            
            
              Sec. 5-185.
            
            
              Code Appendix Enforced.  Pursuant to the provisions of the State Construction Code, in
            
            
              accordance with Section 8b(6) of Act 230, of the Public Acts of 1972, as amended, Appendix G of
            
            
              the Michigan Building Code shall be enforced by the enforcing agency within the City of Romulus.
            
            
              Sec. 5-186.
            
            
              Designation of Regulated Flood Prone Hazard Areas.  The Federal Emergency
            
            
              Management Agency (FEMA) Flood Insurance Study (FIS) Entitled "Wayne County, Michigan" and
            
            
              dated 2/2/12 and the Flood Insurance Rate Map(s) (FIRMS) panel number(s) of 26163C; 0218E,
            
            
              0220E, 0240E, 0243E, 0356E, 0357E, 0358E, 0359E, 0370E, 0376E, 0377E, 0378E, 0379E, 0381E,
            
            
              0383E, 0390E, 0391E  and dated 2/2/12 are adopted by reference for the purposes of administration
            
            
              of the State Construction Code, and declared to be a part of Section 1612.3 of the Michigan
            
            
              Building Code, and to provide the content of the "Flood Hazards" section of Table R301.2(1) of the
            
            
              Michigan Residential Code.
            
            
              Savings Clause:
            
            
              Nothing in this Ordinance hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or
            
            
              proceeding pending in any court or administrative body, or any rights acquired, or liability incurred,
            
            
              or any cause or causes of action acquired or existing, under any Act or Ordinance hereby repealed
            
            
              by this Ordinance; nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired, or

              Plymouth Township and Northville Township fire fighters and paramedics used the Northville
            
            
              ladder truck to remove the injured worker from a roof last Monday. Plymouth Township did
            
            
              not have the manpower or equipment available to provide necessary rescue efforts and had
            
            
              to call on Northville Township for the second time in less than a month.
