E.G. Nick's
500 Forest Ave.
Plymouth
(734) 414-6400
If it's the weekend, this must be E.G.
Nick's.
The restaurant has a list of weekend
specials that draw crowds from
throughout the area. Diners can
depend on some regular choices, and
every so often, the chef shows off his
cooking "chops" with something even
more extra special, depending what
was freshest at themarket that day.
The recently revamped menu
includes an Ultimate Mac and Cheese
that is loaded with grilled chicken and
ham, adding a special smoky flavor to
the comfort food. The dish is topped
with a touch of chopped fresh green
onions that has been known to cause
diners to actually swoon at the first
taste.
During Art In The Park every year,
E.G. Nick's proves to be a popular spot
for those looking for a cool drink in the
air conditioned comfort of the remod-
eled and redecorated restaurant.
The portions are more than gener-
ous and the restaurant has one of the
longest (and best stocked) bars in the
entire area.
E.G. Nick's is also famous for their
craft beers and craft drinks which can't
be found anywhere else in town and is
considered by many regulars and local
as the very best place in town to be.
E.G. Nick's reputation for reason-
ably priced American food is well
deserved. They serve steaks, seafood
and their award-winning baby back
ribs. The planked whitefish has been
named the best in the state by food crit-
ics and is offered at both lunch and
dinner.
