Largest portable grill in
the world visits festival
The thrill of the grill will be joining
Art in the Park this year when the
largest traveling grill in the world rolls
into Plymouth July 13, bringing plenty
of JohnsonvilleSausage along.
The semi-truck-sized grill weighs in
at 53,000 pounds and measures 65 feet
long, 20 feet high and 6 feet in diame-
ter. It has the ability to hold up to 10
grillers, preparing 750 brats at a time -
or 2,500 brats anhour.
Art in the Park visitors will have the
opportunity to enjoy a Johnsonville
Brats, fresh off the Big Taste Grill, as
well as make a donation to
Bridgepointe, which is a non-profit
charitable organization, whosemission
is to bring together school children
from city and suburb. For more infor-

The Johnsonville Big Taste Grill has
a history of helping communities like
Plymouth. Since it was first intro-
duced in 1995, as part of Johnsonville
Sausage's 50th anniversary celebra-
tion, the Big Taste Grill has helped
raise more than $3 million for charita-
ble groups and organizations through-
outNorthAmerica.
The Big Taste Grill travels year-
round throughout North America,
grilling brats and helping raise money
for deserving organizations. In addi-
tion to countless local events including
state fairs, community festivals and air
shows, the grills have also appeared at
a number of major events over the
years.
“The Big Taste Grill is a great tool
that gives Johnsonville another way to
support the communities where we do
business,” said Ryan Pociask,
Johnsonville senior brandmanager.
