Catching some fun
Chamber is sponsoring first Lakeside Strawberry Run
Therewill be a newattraction at the
Belleville National Strawberry
Festival this year, but it may not be
easy to catch.
During Strawberry Festival 2018 the
Belleville Area Chamber of Commerce
is sponsoring the first Lakeside
Strawberry Run expected to draw a
crowd of runners who will be making
tracks through downtown Saturday
morning.
The 5K run will start at the gazebo
in Horizon Park lakeside, run through
downtown Belleville and end at the
Horizon Park Gazebo. The park is
located on High Street between Main
andChurchStreet.
The run will begin at 7 a.m. June 16,
the second day of the Strawberry
Festival. Therewill also be a fun run at
8:45 a.m. for children 10-years-old or
younger. This children's run is free.
All participating runners will
receive a commemorative medal.
Entry fee for the 5K is $35 or $30 for
students 18 and younger.
All participating runners are guar-
anteed a commemorative shirt.
