Kiwanis Pancakes are
Fall Festival tradition
One of the oldest traditions at the
Plymouth Fall Festival will return
this year when volunteers from the
Kiwanis Club serve their breakfast.
For decades, Fall Festival visitors
have started Saturday morning in
The Gathering, enjoying the hot off
the griddles pancakes prepared fresh
by theKiwanismembers.
This year, tickets for the breakfast,
which includes pancakes, sausage,
juice, coffee or milk, along with but-
ter and syrup, are priced at $6 if pur-
chased in advance and $7 if pur-
chased on Saturday. Children
younger than 5 eat free at the event
when accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are available at the Festival
Ticket Booth at main Street and
Pennimanduring the festival.
Breakfast will be served from 7
a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at TheGathering,
which is across from Kellogg Park
andnext to thePennTheatre.
Proceeds from the Pancake
Breakfast help fund Kiwanis efforts
to help the children throughout the
world.
The Kwanis sponsors an interna-
tional effort to eliminate Iodine
Deficiency Disorder, supports
Michigan Motts Children's Hospital,
packs meals for the underprivileged
and those in disaster areas, provides
area scholarships and many other
