Bingo
Band Boosters host
annual games Friday
Bingo Night at the Fall Festival this
year will be hosted by the Plymouth
Canton Music Boosters, a group dedi-
cated to helping fund the champi-
onship marching band and other
music programs at the Centennial
Educational Park.
The group will host a massive bingo
game from6 until 10 p.m. Friday inThe
Gathering and players can spend $25
for a game package that includes two
cards of every game and two cards for
every jackpot played all night.
Individual game cards can be pur-
chased at any time during the night for
$1.
The Plymouth Canton Marching
Band comprises approximately 180
students from Plymouth, Canton and
Salem high schools. The band is led by
David Armbruster and a professional
staff ofmusic educators.
The band was the Grand National
Champion at the Bands of America
National Competition in 1990, 1991 and
1999, besting 93 other bands from
across the country to take the title. The
Plymouth-Canton band has never
placed lower than 15th at the Grand
National competitions. In the last 16
years, the band has wonmore than 500
awards of excellence and has been the
state champion marching band 19 of
the last 21 years.
The proceeds from the bingo games
will go to help fund the purchase of
equipment and uniforms for the band
and aid in travel expenses.
