and the alcove area where there are
shops. Joy said they are hoping for 30-
40 car spaces this year.
The other festival event not to miss,
Joy said, is obviously the chicken bar-
beque on Sunday. A long-time and sec-
ond generation member of the Noon
Rotary Club that organizes the event
every year, Joy said he wouldn't dare
not mention them, especially as he is
president of the club this year.
“Hey, after all, they started the
whole festival, he said.
“Seriously, there is so much to do
and so many groups at the festival.
This really is all about the community.
The morning Rotary has the spaghetti
dinner, the Civitans organize the taste
fest, theKiwanis Club has the pancake
breakfast every year and the Optimists
have been doing the pet show it seems
like forever,” he said, “and there is so
much more, the carnival rides, the
craft show, really toomuch to list.
“There really is something for
everybody and it is a real community
event. I hope everybody comes out
again to support these groups this
year,” he said.
